Stopping heparin injections 12+ weeks

So I haven't done my heparin injection tonight as consultant at the hospital thinks I don't need it until possibly 28 weeks.
Quite scared to be honest . My ivf consultant put me on it. I found out I was naturally pregnant after an ivf miscarriage in November, in between the mc and falling pregnant my ivf clinic did blood tests which came back that I have something called protein s deficiency and also have a mthfr gene mutation (still don't understand any of it to be honest ) so put me on the heparin as caution. I guess I'm just worried, has anyone else been in this position and stopped the blood thinners after the first trimester ? Every midwife I've spoken to doesn't know anything about protein s and nor do I!l

I have Protein S Deficiency too, this is my second pregnancy and I'm on clexane injections from day of BFP until 6 weeks post partum.
I am not sure which country you are in but if you're in the UK your midwife should refer you to a consult and Protein S Deficiency will automatically class you as a high risk pregnancy. Although with management (injections) you can have a perfectly safe pregnancy.
Do some research on the blood deficiency, educate your midwife on the risks (your blood is likely to clot) and ask to be referred to an obstetric consult

Thanks so much for replying ! Yes in the uk. The consistent I've never met, I just mentioned this to the midwife at my 12 week scan and she spoke to the consistent for me the next day. Apparently he looked at my vte score, changed a few things which made it go down as it was at 8, now it's 4 apparently. For some reason it was down that It was an ivf pregnancy and also that I have something called ovarian hyper stimulation (neither correct and don't know where that came from, I have pcos) And then said I can stop the inhixa and he will review it possibly at 28 weeks. Just confused as why im suddenly not risk enough to stay on it ? I'm worried my baby will be in danger from me not injecting anymore

You can do some research on your Trust's website as to how they treat protein s deficiency during pregnancy and what precautions they take, see if that's the treatment that is being followed. You can also ask to be referred to the Hematology department too. There's lot of information on the deficiency and pregnancy, use that to guide your care if you want a second/third opinion x

I have had a quick look and can't find anything. I think they probably take into account my history as I've never actually had a clot etc so maybe that influences the decision. Thanks for your help
