Hi guys!! So I might sound crazy, but I just need advice.. So I had sexual intercourse July 14th 2021 it was the last day of my period. On August 6th I got my period, but it was lighter. Only lasting four days or so when usually six. Few months go by I’m feeling fine I get my “period” even though it’s been lighter every month.. then come October I start feeling weird fetal movements like when I was pregnant I think to myself this is super weird… so I take a pregnancy test negative. I took a few pregnancy tests all negative. Then end of November I start to feel nauseous and just feeling off. For the month of December- Jan I have taken handfuls of home pregnancy tests all negative. But the sickness is still there and fetal movements constantly everyday. I call my Obgyn and they said they can see me but if I wanted to know sooner I can get a quantitative blood test to see, I got less then 2 so not pregnant, so I see my regular doctor get another quant blood test not pregnant… here I am super confused. I have been lightheaded nauseous, breast tenderness fetal movement everyday but it’s coming out negative every single test… I’m going crazy. I couldn’t get in my OB right away and I started feeling worse, and the naseousness wouldn’t go away and felt super super lightheaded couldn’t eat anything. Went to ER ran ANOTHER pg test on me negative, did an abdominal ultrasound of my liver, gallbladder kidneys, and found big gallstones in my gallbladder. But I still wanted an opinion for my OB. Finally see OB, and she does a urine test at office negative and a pelvic exam nothing. But I requested if I could have an ultrasound a few weeks go by, I get the ultrasound. She starts out with me emptying bladder and I did a transvaginal ultrasound empty uterus nothing, but I told her I would be much further along(the sonogram was jan17th) so she switched to belly still see nothing. But would an empty bladder cause not seeing a fetus? A week after ultrasound I had a ct scan done because they found gallstones in a previous ultrasound at the ER I had so they were doing a follow up on gallstones. In my results it states normal size uterus. Could an CT scan of my pelvis and abdomen miss a pregnancy if I were to be 7 months pregnant? I am so sorry for the long post but I’m just lost!! I have fetal movements in my belly everyday, and it’s uncomfortable to sit because I feel like something is sitting right in my upper abdomen. I have cramps even after period, with weird discharge daily, my breasts have been sore for 2 months and also heartburn everyday now and burping constantly!!! Also, feel tailbone is sore. I know it sounds crazy, but I just don’t understand why else I would be feeling these movements like I did when I was actually pregnant. Now it’s April, I had no period in march at all. Thank you for your feedback

OP you are clutching at straws here and not taking a blind bit of notice of what we are all saying.

All you have to do is simply google everything about gallstones. They can affect your hormones which would also make a difference to your period and vaginal discharge.

You are not pregnant, you are suffering the side effects of gallstones.

I appreciate this feedback everyone,
I think it’s what I need to get through this time

OP, get your gallstones sorted and please get some counselling.
If you're desperate to get pregnant then once your gallstones are sorted, actively start trying but by no means are you pregnant now.
Not at all.

I'm medical. This sounds very much like gallstones op. Which would be correct as that is what they have found. With gallstones, especially if there is quite a few, it blocks the bile duct, stopping bile getting to your stomach properly, which makes it very hard for your stomach to digest food. This leads to feeling very sick, sometimes vomiting, extreme bloating and often abdominal pain (like trapped wind), burping (your stomach trying to rid of the gas), heartburn etc. The gas will fill your stomach, which sits at the top of your abdomen, which would explain why when you sit down you feel like something is at the top of your tummy/in your ribs. if there are quite a few gallstones, especially large ones, they will move around in your gall bladder, especially as you move about/roll over, which some people are able to feel if they're quite big. You need to try not to eat too much fatty food, as this will make your symptoms worse. Cheese and fatty meat often cause very bad symptoms. Like others have said, they can also wreak havoc with your hormones if left untreated for a while. You must make sure you're seen and get them sorted as they're obviously causing you a lot of very uncomfortable symptoms Smile Hope this helps Smile

Have you had your ovaries checked. I would suggest you make sure all is ok with your ovaries to as bloating, nausea can be linked to overy issues c

Sorry for tmi, but I just went to bathroom and am having brown discharge. I still haven’t got my period for march. So it’s not a period yet, just brown discharging. I have been cramping for over a week but no period

Have you made a doctor's appointment yet to find out what's wrong? It sounds like you really need to do that. Maybe even ring 111 now?

pumpkin45 · 04/04/2022 21:34

I have been to my regular pcp, my gyno and also a general surgeon to review my scan..

I feel like i am crazy with all these symptoms. I am continually cramping no period for a whole month now and having that bloody discharge this morning and now I don’t have any..

I would be due now if I was pregnant if I had sex on July 14… I have all these people telling me I’m not pregnant but I just feel like I am and it’s driving me crazy. But with the countless tests I know there is no way I possibly could be..

Well, you will find out in a week or two if you were pregnant as you would of had a baby. Then if you don’t you can get it out of your head and focus on your health and getting treatment for gallstones.

Zonder · 05/04/2022 06:34

You really need to go back to the Dr to ask for tests to find out what is going on.

Those appointments you mentioned - were they just because you believed you might be Pg or were they to investigate?

Hiddenvoice · 05/04/2022 09:30

Brown discharge can sometimes be seen as a period. Mine were very irregular in my twenties and my gp said they counted it as brown discharge can be old blood, the start of a period, the end of a period or a very short irregular period.
Please make an appointment with your gp to get fully checked over. There can be so many other reasons you’re feeling unwell and it’s not becoming serious that they are not being fully investigated.

barneymcgroo · 05/04/2022 10:30

I don't know if this helps at all, but when my periods returned after pregnancy, both times, it felt a bit like foetal movements. Freaked me out so much I ended up taking pregnancy tests just in case.

I think I am going to write into my dr today and get help with my mental health. This has been going on in my head for far to long and I’m sick of it consuming me… I just want her to simply say you are not pregnant after she looks at my ct scan one more time. I am driving myself insane, and it’s caused so much depression in my life since I do not want a child. If this is a phantom pregnancy, it has truly felt so real… and I don’t want to experience again until I’m trying for another pregnancy..

pumpkin45 · 05/04/2022 15:03

Dr pretty much told me I should go to my local mental health clinic because after all the time and money they have spent to find a non existent pregnant is turning into a psych issue..

SouperNoodle · 05/04/2022 15:46

I agree with your doctor. Some therapy could be really helpful.

Nurselife2020 · 05/04/2022 16:03

Completely agree with your Doctor and I think for the sake of your mental health you should get some support asap! You have had number medical professionals tell you that there is absolutely no pregnancy happening, you have every test possible and you would also be due any day now so I really do think this has turned into a severe mental health issue. Wishing you all the best

pumpkin45 · 06/04/2022 18:42

Can the stress of all this been making my period lighter?
