Blood pressure?

Had my HV appointment this morning,
Seen someone new today. I'm currently 38+3 weeks. Every appointment I've had protein/ glucose in urine sample. Had multiple tests for GD that have all come back normal? This happened in my last pregnancy and went back to normal once I had delivered. Kidneys have been checked as kidney failure runs in the family. All is well.

But this appointment seemed a bit different! Not only was it rushed. I've still not done a birth plan. I had no protein or glucose in this urine sample that I found strange. I assumed I would have some sort of examination down there (did with my first) that wasn't done unless that isn't done anymore? Next time they will see my is 2 weeks today.. I'll be 40+3 if I make it that far, And the main point blood pressure?

It's always been 110/65 120/70

But this time it was 150/80 is that normal?
Seems a bit of a jump from my normal blood pressure?

The systolic pressure is slightly elevated from normal range 120/80-140/90. Did they not say anything when they recorded it??

@ChloeHel no, just sent me on my way. But my sister had GD, so had to have hers monitored regularly and said that it sounds quite high from my normal, I've asked dr google and that says it's high blood pressure 😩

I can't fully remember but if I'm the top number is above 140 the at my hospital at least you are monitored (I spent hours waiting for monitoring)

It’s the 150 part that’s a bit high, but maybe because the diastolic is normal at 80 they aren’t worrying. I would suggest getting a BP monitor and keeping an eye on it yourself and if it’s consistently high then contact your maternity unit.
