Did labour start for you?

I'm 35+4 and pretty sure I lost my plug this morning. I'm not as prepared as I should be and panicking now that things might start soon! Internet says it could still be weeks but would love to hear others experience.

I'm 40+3 today, I have been losing it gradually since 38 weeks and still here, still very much pregnant! It doesn't necessarily mean labour is imminent as you say. Fingers crossed baby stays out for you! Xx

They can grow back if you lose it that early. I lost mine just after 36 weeks and still nothing a week later. Midwife said she wasn't concerned as no other signs followed and its my second, things are looser this time round.

The same day but it was bang on my due date.

I lost mine at 39+6 in one big dollop! it had the bloody show too, went into labour a few hours after.

I lost my mucus plug in the afternoon( that night I went into labour) , baby was born late the next morning. I know everyone is different though! And this was 2 days before due date

3 days but I was past due date x

I'm not sure if it was the whole thing (sorry if TMI!) but it wasn't bloody or anything like that. I have been feeling quite bloated and sore today though. I'm hoping it's a gradual thing rather than the start of labour because I'm not ready!

OP please call your doctor ASAP. My mucus plug came out at 31/32 weeks, I didn't fuss as I had a checkup the next day anyway, but by the time I was there I was having full on contractions, which the hospital managed to stop. Our DD came at 35 weeks and her lung collapsed despite me having had steroid injections to help her breathing if she came early. At 35 weeks you are early and you should get medical care to make sure that there is enough time between a steroid treatment and birth for it to work if your baby does come this early. Your doctor should be able to check if you are dilated/beginning to go into labour vs your plug came out and nothing is going to happen yet. I don't want to panic you, because I know when mine came early I was so excited to meet her that i thought it was a good thing, but I was utterly unprepared for the reality of a premie. Hoping you have a little more time/that it all goes safely x
