25wks COVID reduced movement

Tested positive for COVID today. My midwife unit not open Sundays but plan on calling at 8am tomorrow when they open. I'm just a bit worried.

I've felt regular movements since 21 weeks and my midwife said contact if anything changes but I know it's really 28 weeks that is a concern.

Wednesday I was joking that I'm worried how active the baby is as it felt like she never slept and I felt movement all the time. And she has been like this for weeks.

She's been less active these past few days, I figured she'd maybe shifted position. Friday I did the cold juice, lay on my side trick to feel her move. Today, I've felt barely any movement unless I drink something ice cold (also helps with sore throat), which lasts for a min then stops again.

I just don't know if I'm over reacting because she is still moving or under reacting because she's really not as active as she has been.

I had mild symptoms Thursday/Friday but tested negative. Yesterday/today I have a really sore chest and keep losing my balance everytime I stand up (I fell down a couple stairs so now I'm banned from doing them alone).

I know with a lot of these posts everyone usually says to contact midwife - however, I have felt her move today and my midwife unit is only open 8-8 weekdays so I'd have to contact 111. I don't want to put unnecessary burden on A&E and I'm worried I'd not get through to anyone on 111 with waiting times and get more freaked out.

Any change in movement should be checked out. Better to be safe than sorry. Do you have access to a triage number? What happens if you went into labour outside of those hours?

It's any change in movement that needs checking out. I went in with reduced movements 3 times in the later stages of my pregnancy - on my way there I always felt silly but when I arrived midwives never made me feel like I was being dramatic and I felt reassured knowing everything was fine and I'd been checked out.

No I just have their number on my badger app and no one picking up today. I have always been told they are there between 8 and 8pm Mon-Sat but tbh it never occurred to me to ask what happens outside of those hours (labour has just felt so far away I guess!).
