Hi everyone,

Ive started looking at prams and am totally confused with all the different types etc that there are.

Ive seen this one
Chicco Trio Enjoy Travel system.. which i quite like, its a good price too and I defintely want baby to be able to lay flat.

Anybody any experience with this travel system? and/or have advice for a first timer.

thanks

Hello,

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the products mentioned on this thread aren't available any more. We've spent weeks speaking to parents and testing prams and pushchairs, from lightweight easy folding prams to all terrain buggies, we've seen them all. Here's our round up of the best baby pushchairs on the market right now.

Hope that helps! Flowers

Be aware not all babies like/tolerate prams. My mum bought me a lovely M&P Pramette and I have used it maybe 6 times over the last 16 months !!! My pram is now in the spare room.

My baby demanded to be held all the time, so we ended up with slings.

Might be worth investing in one cheap sling alomgside your pram of choice, just in case your baby needs carrying close

I've got that pram, its lovely to push even witha toddler and you can use the carrycot instead of a moses basket, its easy to fold and not hugely bulky, although with the carrycot as well try and check that it will fit in your boot, fitted in my friends rover 214 (i don't drive and thats quite small!)

I had decided I wanted a travel system with car seat that I could life out, but didn't use it nearly as much as I'd expected. When he was tiny he would be lifted out of car seat into lie flat pushchair and go back to sleep, and then when he was taking more notice of what was around he was too heavy to carry far in the car seat so now looking at double buggies and not worried at all about one to fit the car seat as it will be left in the car 90% of the time. Apart from that I loved the graco quattro tour although I'm glad we have a big car!

Thanks all these replys girlies

Well i came across this one that both Dh and I agreed on.

Cosatto Mobi 3 in 1
here

Its in Mothercare for £500 with the car seat but i got mine from an Ebay shop for £350!

Baby not here yet so cant say how it works in real life as such but seems great. Folds down easily and back up automatically. Has carrycot so baby can lay flat and the pushchair seat can face either towards or away from you.
Its here it in the front room and can say it looks pretty stylish too.

got mine from here - for £380. not used yet but looks and feels great

nappyaddict · 02/02/2008 11:49

oh i was looking at that with my friend who's pregnant but we thought it best to avoid any where the seat is only suitable from 6 months cos babies often outgrow the carrycot much before then (mine did at 2 months!!)

Fab looking pram - but I do have to at the description of the handle height at the second link "adjustable from 94cm to a full 100cm making it comfortable for all babies carers"
100cm is sooooooo low! Nowadays many buggies go up to 110cm and beyond, and the amount of mums and dads I see slumped over low-handle height buggies makes me want to book them all chiropracter appointments.

But fab looking pram. Shopping basket looks a bit small, but pram looks great.
