Pregnancy pillows & sleeping

I am struggling to get comfy in bed, I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow and bump feels heavy and huge already! Baby is also a figet at night!
I struggle with back ache generally and keep waking up on my back, so thought I'd try a pregnancy pillow.

I opted for Dreamgenii as it comes with a back support, but 2 nights in and it's been kicked out the bed at 1am as I find it too restrictive! I'm a figet sleeper and get up once or twice during the night atm (bathroom break) and found it difficult to get out then back in bed, and turning over with it almost impossible! I'm usually a size 8/10 so it should of been big enough.

Has anyone found a good way of getting comfy (with or without a pillow) and actually sleeping through the night??
I dont think a U shaped pillow would let hubby get in bed 😅 but I'm getting desperate....

I used a V pillow. Cuddled one end, had the centre under my bump, and put the other end between my thighs.
The pillow was then brilliant for breast feeding.

And also used it behind my back when sat on the couch. I definitely got my money’s worth !

I got a J shape pillow with back support. Invariably woke up on my back, lying on top of the back support that's supposed to have stopped me rolling over. I can't sleep on my side. I wake up with hip pain after a few hours. I've started sleeping with a second, 80cm*20cm pillow wedged between the back support and under my back. Then I lie at a kind of 45° angle between being on my side and on my back. I still wake up on my back sometimes, having lost the second pillow somehow, but I find it a lot more comfortable. Not sure if it's 100% ok sleeping that way but I can see my bump is to one side, not on me.

It’s really expensive but I can’t recommend BBHugMe enough. It’s got a beanbag-like filling so you can manipulate it to where you want/need support overnight (I can’t stand anything around my head/face).

I have the BBhugme pillow and I'm in love with it. I toss and turn a lot at night as if I stay too long on one side I start to ache, and whilst I do need to keep lugging it over myself as I roll under, as it's just a straight body pillow it's doable. I also love the filling, it's like a fine bean bag type so really molds to your shape. It is an investment though, and probably not something you want to splurge on unless you're sure it'll work.

A third vote for the bbhugme. It genuinely transformed my sleep and is so comfortable for propping me up when reading as well. Even took it on holiday with me!

I tried the dreamgenii as well and had to ditch it. Im 5'9 and found a lot of them were just too short for me. I found a 12ft U shaped one on Amazon and it transformed my sleep. DH just had to learn to live with it!!
