Going to the office - Covid - Pregnancy

Hi All,

I have an office based job 9-5.30, I also have a work laptop and during lockdowns I was working from home.

Quite recently my employer asked us to adopt a "hybrid" working in which we go to the office 3 days a week and we work from home the other 2 days.

It's all fine and I don't have any issues at all.

My only concern is that I am 8 months pregnant (high risk) and during the last week cases are going up again.

Three people in my team have covid and my DC1 nursery closed today because of increased number of cases in staff and children.

Also, in one month from now I will stop working and will go in maternity leave. Do you think it's sensible to ask my employer to reduce the days I go in the office due to the increased risk to catch covid for my last month?

I am fully vaccinated but so are all the people I know that catch covid...

Yeah I wouldn't risk it if I were you. I'm sure your employer will understand :)

They should redo your risk assessment

100% would ask to only work from home from now.
You don't want to risk covid so late and near the birth.

Am vaccinated and currently sick with covid.
It's horrendous... not worth it honestly
