Do hospitals provide disposable milk bottles?

Most don’t. Not unless breastfeeding is not working.

I see. I have bought the ready made formula with the the milk teats... its just it would be such a waste of milk when baby would be drinking so little and the formula has about 70 to 100 ml pre-prepared.

Anybody that has given birth with baby back to back? What was the labour and delivery like?

Mine did! North West here. I bought the big bottles of premade formula and tipped into bottles provided by hospital. I was there 5 days aswell and never had an issue getting access to these.

I did she was 9lb7 and I was informed during labour.

Was not fun but not much can be done they've got to come out and there was only one way that was going to happen.

Try "spinning babies" you still have time to get baby into optimal position!!!!

I've had 2 back to back and one normal way around, 1st and 3rd were back to back, they were very long drawn out labour's very start stop (over weeks leading up and then once in actual labour) and very very painful in my back normal way still hurts dont get me wrong.

First labour stopped after hours and hours at 8cm so I was put on the drip to get things going again, I then got stuck at 9cm, eventually got to 10cm and she just wasn't coming, they wanted to do forceps so got the anesthetist to come talk to me whilst people piled in but I got her out in one big push still back to back no tears. Second baby was normal way and also no tears. Third was 2lb bigger than the first and would not come out no matter how hard I tried he was pulled out in theatre via forceps, I had a spinal thankfully so didn't feel it. He was completely wedged and took some pulling, he was still back to back when he came out. A lot of babies do turn during labour and it is possible to have a back to back birth without intervention. My third child was a tough birth, I was just unlucky I ended up with so much intervention. My first (and second birth) I felt completely fine the day after, I was shocked how quickly I was back to normal. Third I couldn't walk for 2 months and it's taken a year to recover, things still aren't 100%, but better than it was. Total luck of the draw really.

Most hospitals will only provide if bf fails, if its maternal choice you normally have to take your own.
My first labour was back to back, it was a lot more painful compared to my second, to the point where I honestly thought I would never walk again. It took 4 hours of pushing also - if I'd been on a normal delivery suite opposed to a birthing centre I would have to have had an instrumental delivery. My second delivery baby was out in 3 pushes just to show the difference. Get on your ball and try your best to get baby the right way.

Ive got the ready made bottles. Spoke to midwife last week and she said i could take some of the bottles i will use at use at home to hospital with me to pour left over milk in and can pop it in the fridge so hoping not to waste so much.
