Has anyone had covid whilst in third trimester?

Woke up this morning with terrible cold symptoms that have got worse and worse through the day.
I did a lateral flow test which came up a clear positive straight away.
I now have chest pain that feels like awful heartburn or like I've been winded as well as runny/blocked nose, headache and fuzzy head.
I'm 34+5 weeks pregnant and trying to stay calm and not panic, has anyone else had covid at this stage of pregnancy?
So far I've taken paracetamol, tums and an omeprazole? Also had some tea with manuka honey.
Any reassurance or tips would be much appreciated!

I cant give you tips but my colleague caught it 3 weeks ago. Felt rough for a few days but overall fine, just standard issue that couldn'tuse decongestantdue to pregnancy. She is due tomorrow.
Good luck, put your feet up, get people to wait on you and take what you can to help symptoms.

Forgot to add, I've had 2 Pfizer jabs, second one was 4th November 4 months ago, but no booster.

Are you vaccinated? If yes then you will very likely be fine.

I would panic if you feel like panicking, make sure you leave nothing to chance. I know that's not helpful but if you are worried leave nothing to chance bother the midwife, bother the doctors

Glad to hear it! Sure you will be fine.

I had it at 36 weeks, 3 days of feeling really unwell cough/cold, exhausted, aches. The cough lingered for a week or so but I was fine after those three days. Taking regular paracetamol really helped me. Hope you feel better soon!

Had it at 40 weeks, cough & sore throat for a week. Baby seemed totally unaffected by it, still kicked away.
Had to monitor oxygen levels but midwife wasn't concerned. If you're vaccinated it's likely to be mild and not cause any complications.

A friend had it early in her third trimester but this was 9 months ago so she'd only had 1 jab. She ended up very breathless and needed oxygen in hospital for a few days. She then felt chesty and short of breath the entire rest of her pregnancy, it really took its toll, but at least she didn't have to have her baby delivered prematurely.
Hopefully having 2 jabs will give you a good level of protection. Make sure you keep moving at home and drink plenty, and let your midwife know as they will need to assess your risk of blood clots and whether you'll need blood thinning injections.

I had it at 32 weeks.
Had a rough 3 days at the beginning, were i was out of breath, racing heart, hot and cold and bad cough. Then it was like having a bad cold. I rang and spoke to the MAU and they were really lovely and took all my details and i had 2 phone calls over the next week from a community midwife to check how i was getting on. They just said keep an eye on babies movements.
Just rest as much as you can and if you are worried about anything at all phone the MAU, that is what they are there for.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
