We had a bassinet that he slept in. We just carried it from room to room.

Taswama · 02/03/2022 19:48

Moses basket.

Meecrowavay · 02/03/2022 19:48

Moses basket

Flittingaboutagain · 02/03/2022 19:48

Moses basket (still fits in this at 7 months), bouncy/rocker chair from 8 pounds, but honestly my lap/sling mostly as just wouldn't be put down. Will play on playmat now but only from 4 months.

Don't be surprised if your next to me stays empty for the fourth trimester apart from bedding and snack storage!

Sprogonthetyne · 02/03/2022 19:49

We had a small moses basket downstairs, but neither babies would tolerate been put down, so mostly they were either in arms or a sling.

astersugar · 02/03/2022 19:49

Honest answer? Your arms. Mine have never been keen on being put down. We did have a Moses basket downstairs though in case I needed to pop to the loo or open the front door, etc.

TulipsGarden · 02/03/2022 19:50

I kept mine in the pram carrycot. It meant I could just take him out in it if I wanted a walk and he was sleeping.

musicmadnessnumber57806 · 02/03/2022 19:53

Arms and the Moses basket. Or on a mat on the floor!

PiesNotGuys · 02/03/2022 19:55

With me, so just wherever I was really. On my chest, on my shoulder, in my arms, in a sling, on my lap, on the sofa next to me, or on a play/change mat on the floor at my feet.

OtiMama · 02/03/2022 19:55

Pram carrycot and bouncer for shorter periods

Seafog · 02/03/2022 19:56

My arms/sling/swing

nutellingyou · 02/03/2022 19:59

Moses basket, carrycot attachment on pram or bouncy chair when big enough.

Flittingaboutagain · 02/03/2022 20:11

Oh yes I forgot about how my little one loved the carrycot attachment from the pram and we brought it into the house, even the bedroom some times to try and get a couple of hours straight through sleep. I purposely bought the longest one I could find with the largest weight limit and it has served us so well because baby was a late sitter.

BeautifulBirds · 02/03/2022 20:19

A sling or wrap

MrsSkylerWhite · 02/03/2022 20:20

Moses basket sleeping, sling awake.

SecondhandTable · 02/03/2022 20:20

Eldest - pram carrycot, bouncy chair, carseat, rocking cradle, mostly napped on me or DH though tbh or in the baby Bjorn carrier on DH.

Youngest (4m old atm): pram carrycot, then pram seat unit reclined as far back as possible til it's nearly flat as he outgrew the carrycot at 3 months cos he's huge, bouncy chair, carseat, sling, but again mostly napped on me or DH or in the baby Bjorn carrier on DH. At 4 months we now sometimes put him down for naps in his next to me in our bedroom with the monitor on and regular checks, but this is rare, mostly just because we can't usually bloody get him to go down/stay down for a nap at all...

sociallydistained · 02/03/2022 20:22

Mine does not want to be put in the Moses basket in the day! His bouncy chair and lying on a breastfeeding pillow on the sofa he doesn't mind.

Parker231 · 02/03/2022 20:22

Moses basket in the playpen- to try and stop the dog wanting to curl up with them. It also got them use to being in the playpen.

gogohm · 02/03/2022 20:24

Honestly, arms, occasionally the pram

SoberSerena · 02/03/2022 20:25

Moses basket or pram carrycot

PrincessesRUs · 02/03/2022 20:25

Eldest wouldn't be put down so wore her in a stretchy sling a lot. Youngest was a dream so a bouncy chair!

Caspianberg · 02/03/2022 20:30

Pram carrycot - easiest as I could walk him around the block if he wouldn’t settle and just wheel him inside. Or rock pram indoors.

Otherwise he fell asleep on me whilst feeding a lot. Either stayed there, moved to babybjorn bouncer or onto Mat on the floor.

Duracellbunnywannabe · 02/03/2022 20:32

Arms or a sling.

CorpusCallosum · 02/03/2022 20:43

Arms.

We also had a Chicco Hug but DD rarely tolerated it for long and certainly didn't nap in it ever. It was good for being about to tilt her a little upright with reflux though. It came into its own when she was older and it was her kitchen chair so she could see/join in with what I was up to.

sageandbasil · 02/03/2022 20:54

She always sleeps on me inside so either in my arms or in the sling
