Hi. I am hoping to finally go on our 30th birthday trip to the West coast after rearranging it 4 times since 2020. I am wondering about pregnancy food guidelines in the States and if there are any important differences I should be aware of?
We’ve been before and only eat at reputable places but still want to be prepared. For example, we love Mexican (or Tex Mex) but I read to stay clear of queso blanco, queso fresco and cotija

I would be 17 weeks pregnant when we go but currently have hyperemesis so I may not even make it
Just want to be prepared if I can go because I am one of those people who need to look at menus before I go
