I always rated the John Lewis muslins. My son is 6 now though so my intel might be outdated.

I got a really big one from Amazon it was amazing. Had so many uses.

I didn't have a sicky baby so the small ones werent that good for me really.

Tkmaxx often have the big muslins. They are fab!

Comfy Cubs Muslin Burp Cloths 6 Pack Large 100% Cotton Hand Washcloths 6 Layers Extra Absorbent and Soft (White, Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NSVTFS3/ref=cmswwrcppapiglttiAN6H7HBGKZN4T9TYYM2G

These work out about £2 each. I love them so much. So absorbent. My baby is 10 months and I still also have one sling over my shoulder or in the changing bag for when we're out and about

Itsnotover · 26/02/2022 18:52

Jojo Maman Bebe was the only place that I found I could get really big muslins.

Moonshine160 · 26/02/2022 19:15

Another recommendation over here for TK Maxx. They do really big muslins, think they were called “swaddle muslins” actually but we used them for everything. Really big. My nearly 3 year old still has one now as a comforter.

The 65cm ones are a pretty good size IMO, quite portable. We liked the aldi ones best as they're really soft, but they're a similar size.

Frugi and Aden & Anais do lovely big ones which are good quality but it seems a waste of money for something a baby is just going to be sick on!

posey6 · 26/02/2022 19:22

Aden & Anais! Also used them as a lightweight blanket too. Pricey but worth it imo.

SamanthaVimes · 26/02/2022 19:59

I got these from Amazon. I had quite a sicky baby so the different colours were helpful to my sleep deprived brain to know which ones were already gross through the day so I didn’t accidentally recover us both in vomit!

We had lots from ikea. Nice and big. We use them as wiping up cloths now!

BertieBotts · 26/02/2022 20:04

Yes to TK Maxx and Aldi.

I also got some nice patterned ones from M&S which are less "scrunchy" and more flat, those are nice too. They don't go as soft in the tumble dryer, but conversely if you line dry the M&S ones feel nicer than the others which go quite scratchy.

MrsNT · 26/02/2022 21:38

@bertiebotts have heard good reviews about aldi ones but they arent selling them anymore

I had one big one from JoJo Maman but tbh had very little use for it. I used the standard size ones from Asda and Sainsbury's

Luckyelephant1 · 26/02/2022 21:44

Aden and Anais hands down. If you aren't too fussed about the designs you can get really good offers on them on the Boots website. My little one turned out not to be a sicky baby at all but the large muslins were great for using as blankets in the summer. They get better and softer after each wash as well. I got given other muslins as gifts but nothing compares to the A&A ones.

This.

I bought a few diff options and these are hands down my faves

glycogenii · 27/02/2022 16:51

We got ours from Bumble babies - gorgeous designs and really soft bamboo. We use the bigger ones as blankets and the smaller ones for every day.

thebigpurpleone · 27/02/2022 16:52

Aden and Anais in the sale

Caspianberg · 27/02/2022 16:53

The softest one we have is from ‘free rider’. They make slings and muslin cloths. Not huge, but the perfect size for baby as summer blanket/ cloth. Our large ones didn’t get much use

MrsNT · 03/03/2022 14:11

I found a few unused ones some mums were selling on vinted by Aden and Anais.probably extra gifts. So have ordered those.
