I’m similar. They said at my scan that it depends a lot on where the placenta is and for me it was at the front so muffling the kicking. I can feel more now at 25 weeks though still quite faint.

@Chessie678 thanks for your reply hun, maybe ots anterior placenta I've felt him a few times since muffled movement since posting but I'm hoping in the next few weeks ot gets stronger and more .. ots very worring isn't it is ir placenta low to blocking os?

I have an anterior placenta and am currently 31 weeks.

At around 22-24 weeks I felt movement very sporadically as he had to be moving around the placenta- and honestly it did cause a lot of worry.

From about 26/27 weeks movements kicked off big time and I'd get several active sessions everyday and my husband could feel them as well.

Now since 29 weeks baby is so big I can feel everything- every turn, roll everything pretty much non stop. And can visibly see him rolling around which is kinda weird tbh 😅

Congratulations on the pregnancy!
I am 32 weeks with baby number 3 and have anterior placenta for the first time. I didn't feel much movement until after about 24 weeks but these days I feel loads. Different sensations to previous pregnancies - more rolling type movements. No idea if that's linked to the placenta position or just how baby moves. I also feel more at the top of my bump, my sides and super low down. Midwives have always told me that if I'm worried about movements to call the maternity assessment centre and it's ok if that's often, they'd rather check than not if you're worried

I hardly felt my fourth child move and when I had the 20 week scan they confirmed that my placenta was taking all the kicks! We joke now that she was the best behaved in my tummy 😍 Congratulations on your pregnancy

I'm 22 weeks with a posterior placenta and I've felt hardly anything. I think there were a few flutters there were not gas, but it was so weak I'm not sure. I've seen lots of movement in the scans so I'm not bothered.

Thank you all for your replies, So this is normal to not feel much at all at point lol.. I'm nist a big worry wart, I habe a low lying placenta (not diagnosed as previa yet as I think they diagnosed it at 32 weeks scan?) But I thought if it's lying low surly I would feel much more? Who knows maybe I'm just comparing my DD pregnancy with this one too much and thinking to much into it I know they say 18 to 22weeks you start feeling movement and logically in my head I'm like well it's still kinda early to feel much right now as he still so tiny and its anterior placenta but then the other part kicks in like y isn't he moving much is something not rigjt lol
