Booster jab - early pregnancy

Has anyone had the booster jab in first trimester and all been ok? I wasn’t going to bother (I’m double Vaxxed) but we have a holiday to Spain in May and the time limit between my last jab and the holiday is over their minimum 270 days and it says I require a booster to get into the country. I’m very early days pregnant (coming up to 6 weeks) after 4 miscarriages last year and I’m petrified of losing this one!

@Ellie1311 I had my booster when I didn't know I was pregnant and they advised me it is completely fine and safe to do so. She said it was actually better to get it as your at higher risk of being very unwell with covid so the vaccine helps xx

I had my first dose at around 6 weeks pregnant and the second dose however many weeks after that. I’m glad I did because I got COVID at around 37 weeks.
DS was born 2 weeks ago, perfectly healthy. We had no problems in pregnancy and there were never any concerns about him.

I got my booster when I was 4/5 weeks pregnant. Now 14 weeks pregnant with covid but only got a slight cough and runny nose. Everything was fine at my 12w week scan. X

I had my booster at 8 weeks with a much fought for IVF baby after being urged to by my midwife. We were both absolutely fine and I’m now 20w along Flowers

I had all 3 jabs while pregnant. No issues. My first jab was within the first 3 weeks and I had one in each trimester.

Cakecakecheese · 22/02/2022 08:12

I had my booster at 5 weeks. No problems.

Unknown6 · 23/02/2022 18:53

I waited until 14 weeks for my booster, I just wanted to be past the first 12 weeks. All was OK and because I had the same vaccine as my other 2 my only symptom was a sore arm. (I asked for pfizer as they were trying to give me moderna)

So it’s no to unpasteurised cheese or half a glass of wine but fine to take a medical procedure that hasn’t been tested on pregnant women.
Ah. OK.

Moancup · 23/02/2022 19:06

Had it at four weeks here. Absolutely fine. There is nothing in it that would stack up a hypothesis of something being a problem.

But then I have also had the occasional half glass of wine or mouldy cheese. Hmm

Thousands upon thousands of pregnant women have had this vaccination. There’s loads of data to support the safety (and necessity) of the cocos vaccines for pregnant women.

@KeepingAnOpenMind, I think you need to check with your midwife, this has been tested on 100,000's of pregnant woman now.

SunnySideUp2020 · 23/02/2022 19:16

Here in Switzerland they Don't do booster in 1st trimester...

Omgwhatthehell · 23/02/2022 19:19

Yep. Had my booster at about 8 weeks. It’s NHS advice to have it.
I had no problems at all, and I’m glad I had it as I’ve just had Covid at 17 weeks and was quite rough.

1st vaccine while ttc (got pregnant next cycle after 6 months trying), 2nd in first trimester (9 weeks) & booster in 3rd trimester - baby doing just fine
