NIPT results - ultrasound Direct, How long?

Hi

Just wondered, for those that had a NIPT test through ultrasound direct, how long you waited for your results, had the test done last Monday evening and wondering when I'm likely to receive them, I know timescales are 7-10 days but wondered what others experiences were :)

@annlee3817 Yeah I only looked after! And I said "oh I thought it said you took two sample bottles" and she said, "no they've made the bottles bigger so we only take one now" 🤷🏻‍♀️

I called them, and they said they're still analysing them and to call back tomorrow, have been fairly chilled up until this point, not now 😬

@annlee3817 how frustrating. Good luck tomorrow

annlee3817 · 16/02/2022 16:23

Thanks @Carebear99 I'm not holding my breath, 12 week scan on Friday, I feel like I still won't have the results by then

Is ridiculous. Please update us when you get them.

I'm so hoping I get mine this week, I'm convinced myself that the baby will have one of the trisomy's

WhatTheEll · 16/02/2022 17:38

@annlee3817 Oh I'm so sorry! That's really frustrating. Everything crossed for tomorrow.🤞🏻
@Carebear99 Everything crossed for us both to get clear results this week 🤞🏻

annlee3817 · 17/02/2022 15:52

Hey all, thanks for being my sounding board this week. Results back this afternoon and have come back low risk, so relieved :) hope yours come back this week @WhatTheEll and @Carebear99

@annlee3817 Fantastic news! 👏🏻 relieved for you. I'll post back here when I get mine

Carebear99 · 17/02/2022 16:16

@annlee3817 that's great news! I'm so pleased for you

Carebear99 · 18/02/2022 12:12

Hi everyone
I just got the results. Had my Iona nipt on Monday, they just called and I'm low risk for everything.
I'm so shocked, fetal fraction at 10+2 was 10%, I've got a high bmi so I'm shocked by that. But I'm so happy and I know the sex!

WhatTheEll · 18/02/2022 12:34

Yes!!! @Carebear99 ♥️♥️🥳🥳
I also just got mine......it's a girl!!
And all low probability for Trisomy's. Feral fraction was 11% at 10+5 so relieved

WhatTheEll · 18/02/2022 12:34

**fetal!! I meant

Carebear99 · 18/02/2022 12:37

I'm having a girl too! My husband wanted a boy, but I wanted another girl. My first born, born in 2001 was a girl.

I'm so pleased for you!

WhatTheEll · 18/02/2022 13:35

@Carebear99 Congratulations!!! 🥰 that's wonderful news. I convinced myself I was having another boy 😆 so it was a pleasant surprise

annlee3817 · 18/02/2022 20:33

Congrats @WhatTheEll so we're all girls :) fetal fraction was 10% for me :)

I've already got a little girl, we're over the moon :)

@annlee3817 Amazing! Fab news 💚

Nikki037297 · 20/02/2022 21:04

Congrats to yous all! I had my sneak peek this morning and another boy they say I’m 7weeks. Getting my nipt in 3 weeks to confirm. How much did everyone pay for their nipt? The clinic I’m going too is £400

annlee3817 · 20/02/2022 21:41

@Nikki037297 it was £400 where I went :)

OP posts:
WhatTheEll · 20/02/2022 22:20

@Nikki037297 Yep same, £400. Good luck!

MaraudingMother · 05/12/2022 19:32

Hi, for those who used ultrasound direct, did you receive the sex results too? The online page says they don’t offer this service due to the lack of research and data so I’m just curious?

going to book regardless as importantly want to know about the three trisonomies but was curious about the sexing which other companies offer.

sunshine1987 · 05/12/2022 20:59

@MaraudingMother Yeah I had mine at UD and had received the sex results
