Not complete, but I've had partial placenta praevia at my 20 week scan in all my pregnancies. They re-scan at 32 weeks and it has always moved. I'm 3rd pregnancy now, 28 weeks and hoping it moves again. I've always been warned to watch out for bleeding, but I've never bled so don't have any info on associated problems. Hope all goes well

Hullo! Again, not complete. But I had it all three times and it moved. I also bled all three times, so was monitored a fair bit, but it turned out fine. Had normal births.

Hey! I was told at 20 week scan i had complete placenta previa but a rescan a few weeks later, done by a different sonographer said it was partial. I am 30 weeks today and getting a scan to check placenta at 32+1 and I am pretty certain I am going to be told it’s not a concern anymore based on what I have been told at pervious scans.

I had my baby 6 days ago and had placenta previa at the 20 week scan. I was told it would most likely move (9/10) by 32 weeks when I was rescanned. It hadn’t moved, so I was then rescanned at 36 and it still hadn’t moved so I had to her by c-section at 38 weeks.

I know you were looking for cases where it had moved but even though mine didn’t move I had a really positive pregnancy and birth. I had no bleeding through the pregnancy and now baby is here and she’s perfect. The only risk they told me about was the additional bleeding I may have at the birth, but they were very well prepared for it.

I hope yours moves just like I hoped mine moved, but if it doesn’t a planned c-section is so calm. I washed my hair the night before, had a great night’s sleep and drove myself to the hospital knowing I wouldn’t be able to drive for 6 weeks.

I had the same at 20 weeks and was told not to worry as there was still plenty of time for it to move. I had a growth scan at 28 weeks which I was told it had moved but they’d wait until 32 weeks to tell me how much by.
At my midwife appointment at 28 weeks she told me what signs tk look out for- any bleeding just to phone hospital and to avoid sex until my next scan. She mentioned some discomfort j was feeling was due to the placenta testing on my pelvis.
Try not to worry about it, carry on your pregnancy as normal

Again, only partial but it had moved in time. Before getting pregnant a c- section was my worst nightmare, I actually can't describe how terrified I was at the thought of it, but once faced with it I took some time to really get used to the idea such as reading positive c-section stories. I had a natural birth, but needed to go to surgery straight after. The surgery was the calmest and pain free I felt during my entire birth experience, so much so that I'm really considering a c-section for this baby.
