Hey everyone -

Just looking some advice as this is my first pregnancy and will be soon telling my work so I want to have some sort of plan in mind.

I am due on 11th September 2022 👶🏽

I aimed to work right up so I had more time off with baby. But wanted to get a sunny holiday in for me and my boyfriend before baby arrives.

As I am aware cut of date for flying really is around 34 weeks? Has anyone flew at this late stage? Or been away on holiday - would you advise or not recommend? ☀️ ☀️

I'm 33 weeks in Canaries for a week and it is bliss! Guess second trimester is safest though. If you're currently child free you'll have more flexibility about when you go than me.

I did get a fit to fly from mw but it was no bother at all.

We went when I was 29 weeks and it was great. I didn't however have a baby only 3\4 weeks later with a preemie so glad we got it in before. I'd go earlier if you can as you never know.

We flew at 21 weeks and it was fine except pregnant skin doesn't like the sun and I burnt like crazy even though it was only 23 degrees in lanzarote.
