On way home from hospital

I just got those ready ones for the hospital just in case a few weeks before but never used them.

I got a few bottles of ready made formula at about 33 weeks.

We bought some ready made newborn bottles a couple of months in advance.
Very long use by date.
They were extremely useful as dd had issues latching, so needed formula for a few weeks.
Just check the dates. I think powder has a long life span, and you go through it quicker than you'd think!

We got in a pack of the ready-made bottles. They have a long use-by date, so you might as well get them now. I planned to breastfeed, but wanted them as a backup - in the end I did use a couple of them.

If you plan to breastfeed then one 6-pack would probably be enough for now - it's easy enough to send someone to get more of you need it.

If you plan to formula feed then you might as well buy it now, it'll last for ages as long as it's not opened.

I wouldn't bother instead just put the money aside maybe? You have no idea which formula will suit your baby best.

I would be cautious about buying too much incase the one you buy doesn't agree with your baby.

I would suggest 1 of the ready made packs of 6 and 1 powder tub. After that you can easily buy more/try a different brand if that one isn't suiting your baby. Babies drink so little in the early days 1 tub lasts for ages ut is once they are bigger you start getting through a tub or 2 a week.

A 6 pack of ready made little bottles when I did hospital bag at about 39 weeks.

Found them out of date a year later so chucked them! Waste of a tenner. You can get formula so easily if needed once baby is here.

Hello, I'm just after some advice after seeing the health visitor. I'm 31 weeks and whilst having a chat she mentioned sleep and I said I have the love to dream and she said they're not recommended. She also mentioned that she's had multiple babies using the baby brezza and they all have bad colic from it as it froths the milk?! Any help and advise and these 2 things I was going to purchase and now I'm.back at square 1. Any help appreciated. Thanks

We've got a Perfect Prep machine and used it last time with DS as well (it's been used by family and friends since then). I mixed fed DS until he was about 15 weeks and then we did breastfeeding only because he refused to take any bottles.
I've got some Aptamil ready-made formula (not the ones with the tops to screw on) and one tub of powdered formula. We'll see whether we need it or not. Currently 39 weeks with DD and planning on breastfeeding again. We'll do the mixed feeding, if needed.
I stressed about it last time but have no intention of getting all hung up about breast or formula this time round.
