I've found out I am pregnant. Only early on but it's big news as I have a history of recurrent miscarriages. I've had 6 miscarriages then my miracle daughter and 3 losses after her.
If all goes well my daughter will be about 19 months when baby is due.
Me and my partner are looking for a double pram that is suitable for both my daughter and a newborn.
I know it's early to think about it as some might say however we have got all the other big items excluding the cot.
So I just need some ideas on double prams.
I like to be prepared. But also not plan to far ahead due to my history.
Thank you in advance.
And sorry if you think I'm rushing or getting my hopes up too much. However if you understand the loss of a child or multiple children you will understand the hope and excitement I have and just to keep my hopes up I need to just think of this as a positive.

Congratulations OP.

I would go for the mountain buggy duet. We decided we wanted a side by side buggy so that both children could see out ok- and it's the narrowest side by side you can get- never met a doorway I can't fit through. We also considered the similar out n about nipper, but the mountain buggy being narrower clinched it for us.

The bassinet in the mountain buggy is small, but I have huge babies and they lasted about 4 months in it before transitioning to the normal seat (which lies completely flat so is perfect for a young baby).

Hi OP also pregnant early on and my babies will be 18 months apart.
From now I found the Cybex gazelle S or the uppababy vista double good. As you can have th3 bassinet/carseat and the toddler seat. And they are tandem so when 1 goes out of the pram you can just use as a single pram.

But haven't actually tried neither. We currently have a cybex priam.

I got a second hand uppa baby vista when my second was born.

Amazing pram. We used it as a double until DS was 2.5 and DD was 6 months then we had it as a single with a buggy board on it.

What I liked most about it was how easy you could go from 2 to 1. When doing the nursery drop I'd take it in as a double, leave the toddler seat, move baby up and away I went for the day. I think side my side doubles can be quite unbalanced if you just have one or when you have a baby and toddler in them.

Real advocate for side by sides here- never ever felt even remotely unbalanced!

Have friends who have the uppababy vista and having tried my side by side they wish they had gone for the same. The yopababy is so unwieldy in comparison.

I looked at the out and about nipper double in a shop the other day and think it’s the one we’ll go for. It was much lighter than I expected.
