Hey ladies so I spoke to my doctor and I told her about my mc and everything she said to start taking pregnacare max now but I also just bought vitamin b complex didn't realise that pregnacare has all those vitamins already I asked her about low dose aspirin she said there's no need to take but I don't know she didn't even let me ask about progesterone so that's abit sad

Around 1-4 pregnancies end in a MC, which is 25% of people. It's a lot!

Less than 2% of them will have another MC in a row.

Try not to worry OP ❤️ I know it's hard. Most MC's happen due to chromosome abnormalities and aspirin and progesterone wouldn't help.

You can buy baby aspirin in boots if it would make you feel like you're doing something to help control the situation, just check it's okay for you to take it with your medical history 😊 good luck op xx

I'm so sorry this happened - it's horrible. It is rare to have more than one consecutive MC. Advice fun the last poster is spot on. Remember while you're reading posts on here that it's a bit of a distorted view - people are far more likely to reach out when they need support and often it's easier to post here than talk to people in real life so you see a lot of heartbreak on these boards. That can be really helpful and supportive (I certainly found it to be) but it is a warped view of reality.

SunDance21 · 05/02/2022 07:59

@Mimba1 100% agree. It's so easy to forget that this isn't it. The vast majority of pregnant people don't find themselves on here. You usually come across these boards because you're googling if something is normal etc. It really isn't representative.

Hi @jjunaki100 I'm sorry for your loss it's awful. I went through a mmc in November after ivf and it killed me. I actually find myself pregnant naturally, after 7 years ttc and ivf ! Trying to be grateful and believing it's fate but also trying to keep the panic at bay! I think when you've been through one loss it's hard not to compare isn't it

SunDance21 · 05/02/2022 12:11

@jjunaki100 I was exactly like you. I've had recurrent loses and after the first MC, I spent all my time on Google looking for answers. The horrible thing is, there aren't any. Google can't tell you why it happened, which is really shite.

The whole thing taught me that womens health is definitely underfunded and under-researched.

As hard as it is, when you next get pregnant just try to remember it's a different pregnancy with different circumstances. It doesn't mean it will happen again. There is nothing you could have done to help what happened and it's not your fault.

It's such an awful feeling and I'm so sorry you're going through it ❤️

I'm currently 4/5 weeks pregnant, and have just accepted what will be will be. I have had tests etc done but honestly would recommend waiting until you've had 2 MC's simply because you won't get seen by the NHS until 2/3 and private is very expensive.

Good luck OP and if you ever need to chat there will be people here who know exactly how you feel ❤️❤️

Hi ladies

I came off my pill in April 2021 after being on it for almost 10 years. My husband and I have been having regular unprotected sex since then but have not wanted to put too much pressure on ttc so have not tracked etc every month

We assumed pregnancy would happen easily and quickly as it seems like it has for all of our friends but it has not so we have decided to really start trying this month. We have started taking pregnacare/wellman vitamins, I got digital ovulation tests and we DTD every day I got smiley faces and 2 days following the static smiley. We also used a clear blue ttc lube one of these times.

The TWW is just so hard and feels so long - does anyone have any tips or anything I should try that we may not have thought of yet! I also always have freezing cold feet - I’ve read this can effect implantation - thoughts?
