CVS needed following 12 weeks scan and bloods

Hi,

I just got told baby has a high chance of downs syndrome. Had my 12 week (which turned out to be 13 week scan) last Thursday. Have opted for CVS as wanted a definitive answer.

Feeling sad and scared and wanted to hear from others. I'm having the test on Friday.

Anyone else in the same situation.

Huge relief, I just got my results from Friday and baby is OK! I hope everyone else going through similar is OK and has good results too xx

I had my first scan at 13 weeks 2 days nt measured 3.5mm so bloods were taken and now found out I have a 1 in 29 chance of baby having Down syndrome. Feel completely over whelmed and scared. Pregnancy was so smooth sailing with my first baby but feel all over the place with this one.

Awaiting a further scan from another hospital and Nipt bloods have been done. So now just a waiting game to see where we go from there. Praying and trying to keep positive.
Any similar experiences would be much appreciated. Xxx
