I am 6 month pregnant fitness freak. I was wondering how do you all keep yourselves fit and active? Really need some inputs here!

I do some prenatal yoga 4 times a week and I meditate (or at least try to) daily! It helps me A LOT!! Plus I track my health on my Nurturey Pink Book app so that I know I am in my perfect health. It helps me track my BP, weight, BMI, my haemoglobin count every week. I hope that helps! :)

Is there a prenatal yoga resource you would recommend?

I've been doing some pregnancy workouts off YouTube 2-3 times a week and I also have an active job. Pregnancy and postpartum TV is a great YouTube channel for these. Also bodyfit by Amy.

4 months pregnant here. I’ve kept up pilates reformer, walking, not very heavy weights and spinning. Spin/weights 4x week, walk on weekends and pilates once a week due to expense.

What did you do before you were pregnant? I was told to carry on what I normally did and make reasonable adjustments.

I stayed doing the Crossfit I had been doing before pregnancy.

Really recommend yoga. I like the Paula Lay videos (she does great postnatal ones too) but an sure there are loads of other great ones. I like her Aussie accent too Grin

Other than yoga (and walking obviously) I'd just recommend anything that keeps your muscles strong and flexible. I wouldn't worry so much about CV fitness, as you'll get this back very quickly post-birth if you are keen.

Swim 3 mornings a week after the nursery drop off and before work. It's so relaxing and amazing for stretching! 😊

I do weights 4 x per week (which I did anyway) and get a long walk in each day

Now I feel human again after the first trimester struggles, I’m slowly getting back into the gym (F45) which is a mixture of HIIT and weights.

I’m just making reasonable adjustments, not going as hard as I did before and making sure I warm down properly.

I’m only 14 weeks though, so not sure how I’ll feel once I’m further along and have a bigger bump etc.

I’ve been doing a mixture of spinning and yoga (pregnancy and normal), with the odd HIIT class thrown in. I also walk a lot, and I’m going to start swimming once I’ve got a bit more time (work is currently too busy to fit it in!).
