Clear blue 3+ but nothing on abdominal scan?

My clear blue test has went up from 2-3 last week to 3+ this week but a private scan last night showed nothing? I don't know if this is because it wasn't an internal scan it was an abdominal one. Is this normal?

Everything was fine at the scan. Baby is measuring 8 weeks 3 days and a strong heartbeat. Back again in 4 weeks for the 12 weeks one. Going to be such a long wait.

Aw lovely! Glad everything went ok and only a day behind me too lol! Mines on the 18th pretty sure I'll be panicking every day until that day.
