Booster at the minimum interval while pregnant?

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and just eligible for my booster (3 months since 2nd dose). Has anyone had the booster at the minimum interval? Not sure whether to delay for a few weeks.
Had my second dose before I knew I was pregnant so this is the first time I'm facing this decision.

What would be the benefit of delaying? I had my booster at about 3.5 months interval when I was around 30 weeks pregnant, didn't delay for any reason just found it difficult to get an appointment in my area.

If you are eligible and you can get to a vaccination centre I would say go for it!

You want to have the full protection of the booster by the time you reach 3rd trimester, the riskiest time to have covid in your pregnancy, and remember the jabs take a week or 2 to bump up your immunity, so I would say it would be best to get your booster definitely in the next 3-4 weeks if you can.
And remember every week you wait, the protection from your first 2 doses will be reducing so keep being careful with social distancing, hand washing, masks, and mixing outside wherever you can in the meantime.

Thanks both. It's a choice between having it this week or waiting until I'm closer to 24 weeks which in my head seems a safer time. I'll definitely have it in time to be protected for the third trimester which I understand is when it's most risky to catch covid.
Unfortunately I can't wear a mask but I spend a very limited time enclosed in close contact with strangers. OCD means I'm very careful with hand washing etc.

Why is it that you feel it will be a safer time at 24 weeks OP?
The covid jabs are absolutely safe at any gestation.

@SouthwestSis I suppose that's the point at which doctors could step in to help baby should anything go wrong. I know it's irrational given I have one dose whilst pregnant already.
I think part of my issue is the indecision from health care staff and vaccinators. Just before my second vaccine I was told it was good I wasn't pregnant - even though it was a Pfizer vaccine.

@arghdilema sorry you've been given inconsistent advice but please be assured that there is no benefit to baby for you waiting until 24 weeks.
Pfizer and moderna vaccines are safe at any number of weeks

I got mine at minimum interval while pregnant, no issues!

Get the booster at the earliest opportunity. The only difference at 24 weeks is that they will resuscitate if born at that gestation, not that there is a lot they can do or that you are not highly likely to have a child will serious health limitations if born at 24 weeks. The chances of early labour are vastly increased by getting Covid and no evidence they increase from the vaccine. Get you and baby the protection you can from Covid as early as you can x

@Hugasauras that's really reassuring! I guessed most people would have an interval of 6 months rather than 3. I would of had a 6 plus month interval if I'd had the jab when first offered. However I was pregnant at the time (ended in miscarriage) and it wasn't recommended.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts. I checked my dates again and the soonest I can have it is this Friday so I'v booked for the beginning of next week. Hoping it will be Pfizer.

I was 13 weeks when I got my booster. Had my NHS scan the day after and another since then and all good! Just had a sore arm.

I've just had a healthy friend the same age as me really unwell with Covid and still not right after a couple of weeks, so I'm glad I've got my booster, especially now DD is back at nursery after Christmas and bringing home all sorts Grin

Got mine as soon as eligible (soon after it was lowered to 3 months), was around 8w at the time. Only had a sore arm and a bit of fatigue (mixed with early pregnancy fatigue anyway so don't know if it was worse due to the vaccine). Cases are high at the moment making the chance of catching it during daily life pretty high so I would want to get boosted as soon as possible.
