Please can someone share any information.

I work in an office. It's a small business and although we have our set roles it's mostly hands to the pump. My role doesn't involve face to face with the public but when it's busy (which it often is) I will answer the door and take meetings.
When finding out I was pregnant this stopped. It was decided that it was a risk to me and that there were enough people for me to not have to do that.
Then yesterday the owner messaged me saying that I would be dealing with the public again. When I asked her what made her make that decision, she said 'I can't see the risk' and ultimately 'I am the owner'.
Guidance is so unclear and I'm feeling absolutely sick with worry. I'm not able to work from home (only for the reason that it apparently makes everyone else busier) and I've been told my 'pregnancy is affecting everyone'.

I work all the hours under the sun. I always have. But I feel I am being treated badly.
My pregnancy has affected nobody, in only 5 months. I've not been off sick. My appointments are either first or lasy thing.

I don't know the rules on pregnancy and Covid in work places but this cannot be right surely?

You need to have had a risk assessment but you've already said you aren't public facing. Without knowing exactly what you do no one can say for definite but it doesn't sound like you are in a high risk role. Covid risk isn't any higher for pregnant women until 3rd trimester anyway. Are you jabbed and boostered?

You need a risk assessment but in terms of covid there is nothing to stop you from interacting with the public as this is based of government guidelines which doesn't mandate any restrictions. I am a nurse and will continue in my usual role until the end working with patients, it's scary but as long as you have proper PPE and social distance the risk is really small
