Hello ladies

I am 14 weeks today and from 5 weeks I have had severe exhaustion, insomnia, severe morning sickness and to top it all off a sinus infection which I can’t get rid of. I honestly feel so low, I have no energy and I feel like I’m neglecting my DD who is 2.5 and craving for my attention. No one seems to understand how I’m feeling. I thought my sickness would go by now and I’ve lost a stone (I was 8 stone) This is my 3rd pregnancy (2nd was a loss)

Please help me, I don’t know who to turn to

I'm sorry you're feeling so rubbish. Being pregnant with a toddler is HARD and nobody gives you the same support as first time round which is bizarre considering you have another one to look after! If your daughter still naps it is worth trying to sleep when she does, this got me through my second pregnancy. Also at the weekend just take time to nap and let partner take daughter out. In terms of sickness I always found little and often helped. Even just crackers! It will be worth it, but it can feel like a long time...hopefully you'll get a bit of relief in a few weeks when hormones change x

I'm also 14 weeks and I have an 18-month-old. I'm on meds for the sickness and that's eased up and the worst thing now is the exhaustion. I'm just not getting this 2nd trimester burst of energy at all! I know just how you feel. Nobody gets it because pregnancy happens all the time and so many people don't have these issues. And I feel so bad for my lovely little boy who would probably like to do more things and go more places like before. My partner is too busy with work to do much more than usual.

Are you on any meds? Have you seen a GP about your sinus infection? I had one last year and it didn't go away on its own.

I'm also pregnant with a three year old, I basically just rest at weekends and my husband looks after small person. He also works from home and gives me a 15 min break mid-afternoon during the week. It's not long but gives me enough energy to get to bedtime. Feeling sick and trying to be fun Mummy is flipping hard though, luckily I've only thrown up once in this pregnancy which I am very grateful for. Keep telling myself it will pass x

I feel your pain!! I'm 21 weeks with my 3rd. Have a dd5 who is very on the go and wants my attention, plus school runs. Ds2 is full of beans and if he doesn't get out for a walk to burn off some energy he wakes up multiple times during the night. I suffer with SPD in pregnancy which makes walking extremely painful especially towards the end. I'm counting down.. 19 weeks to go!!

Try and find some games/toys that you can set up on the floor and just sit there and play, doesn't take to much energy. Or relax on the sofa while they bring you pretend cups of tea, cakes etc xx
