Constant braxton hicks - 33 weeks

Hi so I need help please!

I've been for reduced movements this evening, everything was absolutely fine with baby, but when I was walking out the midwife said she was concerned about how many braxton hicks I was getting and if I get any pain to come straight back in.

I was a bit shocked by it and stupidly didn't ask any questions, so looking at my book I had 8 braxton hicks in 35 minutes.

Usually they don't cause any pain, maybe the odd one. Has anyone else had similar? How did it turn out for you?

I've mentioned it to a couple family members and they are freaking me out saying labour could be soon 😳😳😳

My experience was constant Braxton hicks through the whole pregnancy, I was in for a scan and consultant one day and they were especially bad but they didn't even put me on the monitor. I found I felt them more as I had overdone it stretching in the pool, enjoying feeling weightless as I was 30+ weeks by then! I ended up going into labour at 41 weeks naturally so wasn't an indication for me.

I have had constant brat on hicks in all 3 of my pregnancies. I have something called irritable uterus, so they would usually start when I needed the toilet (both wee and poo), if the baby kicked a particular sore spot or when turned on/after orgasm Blush does anything like that trigger them for you?

What I will add is that I think it's a total myth that BHx aren't painfully because almost every single one I've had comes with back and thigh pain.

My rule of thumb in the end was if the pain was gradually getting worse and it had gone on for more than 2 hours to go in. I was in and out with my son repeatedly with what was actually just BH combined with irritable uterus - they even prepared me for an early birth at one point - and then with my second I knew what they were.

If at any point you have any doubt or are worried, go in. That's what they are here for Thanks

Never had them (well couldn't feel any) in first 2 pregnancies. This time have had them continuously since first trimester!!
Just one of those things ( currently 32 weeks) Dehydration on full bladder can trigger them fyi
