Triple vaxxed third trimester

Hey
Just wondering what other triple vaxxed mums are doing in terms of protecting yourselves from covid? Or maybe you’re not feeling worried after the vaccines and living life as normal?
I was doing this until omicron emerged and now I’m not so sure since the vaccines and the booster (after 10 weeks) aren’t so effective.

I got my booster 4 weeks ago so now I am still being well protected by it and will be well covered immunity wise until my baby is born.

We were more careful in the run up to Christmas where we visited my parents, and will be spending NYE with just one other couple (all of us jabbed and will lateral flow tomorrow before meeting up) and I'm not going to any pubs, bars, cafes etc. But I don't really feel that I would have been doing much of that at 34w pregnant anyway, I just want to lounge at home in my PJs most of the time!

Myself and husband will continue to be extra careful in the 2 weeks before due date as I don't want anything to risk him being able to be with me for the birth

I'm fully vaccinated and boosted and still being really careful. The vaccines reduce the risk of infection, and make it likely that any illness would be mild, but in my opinion it's still worth being extra careful where we can, especially when it's for such a good reason - to protect our babies and vulnerable people in our lives.

I go to work (frontline healthcare) but have good PPE there. We do daily lateral flows and have good infection control policies.

My social life has largely gone back to being outdoors or online. Outdoors isn't that bad, actually - with a good coat, good shoes and good hot chocolate a walk in a park is fine. Yes, it would be nice to go to a restaurant or the cinema, but they'll still be here in 3 months' time. I can still have movie nights with friends, just virtually for a few more weeks.

I'm quite careful about hand hygiene, masks and social distancing. They're simple things we can all do to reduce risks to ourselves and others - low effort, potential for high reward.

My DH and I are planning to largely self-isolate for the 2 weeks leading up to the due date, as we really don't want a COVID infection to mess up the birth plans. Restrictions mean that if either of us were positive at the time of delivery, our plans would have to change significantly - for us, avoiding that is worth the relatively minor inconvenience of 2 weeks' self-isolation.

I'm not being super cautious but I wouldn't go to the cinema or sit on a bus for example. I would happily go for lunch or go and see a friend

Not particularly concerned about wing I’ll with it but working from home from now on and generally limiting contact until baby arrives. I’d rather not have Covid during labour/ just after the birth as it limits having anyone from outside our home around to help with toddler during/after the c section so would mean I’d have to be alone at hospital whilst DH at home
