Premature labour

I have a history of having babies early. I’m 30+2 and have had my babies at 29, 30 and 35 weeks. I’m constantly in limbo, wondering if today will be the day baby comes. I can’t relax.
I’m getting BHicks a lot(been happening weeks and weeks now though), I’m huge(he’s measuring big-ish anyway) and so bloody uncomfortable. I’ve got lots of really watery discharge too.
I know nobody can tell me when he will arrive, just wondered if anyone else has been in this position before.

Not experienced this myself but sympathise. I assume you are as organised as you can be? Bag packed and a list of numbers to call when you do go into labour so your partner can call for babysitting help for the other children? Meals in the freezer ready for a quick defrost post baby?

Oh I’m as prepped as I can be. Bag is packed etc. it’s just the unknown now. Pregnancy has been pretty smooth so far, having scans at the hospital every month, so they’re doing all they can. I’m scared to move though incase my waters break like the other times! I almost want him to arrive so I can stop worrying. I obviously don’t in reality. Plus, as he’s measuring big, and my others have been small, I’m freaking out about how I’ll get him out if he is big! Biggest has been 6.5lb

Do you know why previous babies have been premature? If no particular reason, I think you are best to not worry and try and relax- not easy I’m sure!
Perhaps try some yoga and meditation to try and keep you as relaxed as possible. I understand your worry about size, I am 37wks and baby 97th percentile- but I would think with your scans they will know so don’t worry about that! From my experience if they are big at the end you will be offered an induction (or C sec if predicted really big)- so the worry for me here is that this might be missed but if you’re having regular scans they’ll know how big. Congrats & keep calm xox

Yes and no. With the 2 super early ones, I had very heavy bleeds at the start which can weaken membranes. My water broke at 23 weeks with my 1st. Had him at 29 weeks. My waters always just go early.
