I have just found out I am pregnant. My clearblue test came up 2-3 weeks, what does this mean I actually am, what way do doctors date it? Also, my last pregnancy was a stillborn I had a baby at 20 weeks. Will I be taken care of more in this pregnancy, what to expect etc? Thank you x

2-3 weeks is 4-5 weeks along as you add on 2 weeks ish. The midwives/doctors will go from the first day of you last monthly period until your dating scan around 12 weeks when you'll get a more accurate due date.
So sorry to hear about your baby born sleeping Thanks no advice as to wether you'll be more looked after as it's not something I've personally experienced and I don't know the circumstances in which tou lost your little one.
If you're anxious your midwife will be able to help when you see her hopefully in a couple of weeks. X

Hi, gentle congratulations. Sorry for the loss of your baby.

My baby was stillborn at full term last year and am currently pregnant with his sibling. Frustratingly it seems to be a bit of a postcode lottery when it comes to care in a subsequent pregnancy. I have been extremely lucky but know that it isn't always the case so don't want to say what you should expect. Do you have access to a bereavement midwife at all? If not, it would be worth contacting your community midwife sooner rather than later as I would hope that you will get referred to a consultant and they may recommend medication or a care plan for this pregnancy. All the very best to you.
