Second covid vaccination during pregnancy

Hi all, I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. Had my first covid vaccination on 25th September (before implantation). My second is due on 20th December.

Bit wary of getting it as I don't feel there has been enough research into the side affects of getting the vaccine whilst pregnant.

What has everyone else done or what would they do?

If anyone has some factual articles/ research I would appreciate you pointing me in the direction of them so I can read up on it.

I've got severe OCD so decisions are hard for me as I'll worry either way, so need to make the most informed decision I can!

Thanks x

I have had both vaccines and my booster. I work in maternity and cannot stress how important it is for pregnancy women to get vaccinated. All of our cases of pregnant women in ICU are unvaccinated. I can totally understand the concerns around it given the initial advice put out to not have it, but since then lots of women worldwide have had it in pregnancy and healthy babies have been born. The data is there. It's personal choice but I would encourage any pregnant women to seriously consider getting vaccinated and boosted to give the best protection for you and baby and minimise the risk of complications due to covid.
