Booster just before due date?

I have been invited for my booster by the so went on to book today and it was giving me dates the week before due date. I booked one without a second thought really but since just thought what if I feel really ill afterwards and could potentially be going into labour at any time. Is it really worth the risk. I am planning a home birth so don’t plan to be in hospital (obviously things change!) so if goes to plan I’d be at home for the early weeks anyway. On the other hand, it’ll probably be easier to get the booster before baby is born.

Anyone else in the situation or should I just go for it?

Not in that situation as only got my second jab in Sept, but how were you after your first and second? If you didn't have side effects then I'd probably go for it...actually I'd probably go for it either way as I'd rather have the side effects when pregnant rather than with a newborn and think I would feel more reassured having had it (plus baby will be born with the effects of it too if you get it whilst pregnant!)

Totally a personal choice though, no right or wrong decision!

Absolutely get the booster as soon as you're offered it.
The alternative is that your protection against covid keeps on declining which leaves you and your baby at risk, especially with the omicrom variant

Mine's also week before due date. I was pleased with that as really wanted it before baby is born. I never had any side effects from the others.

I had mine a few weeks ago. No side effects other than a dead arm which was the same as the first and second for me which I had before I was pregnant. So I my case the pregnancy had no impact on how I reacted to it.

If you were to react to it, personally I'd rather be suffering while pregnant than suffering with a newborn. Personally I'd just go for it.

I think I’ll go for it then. I thought I had major side effects after the first dose… but I didn’t know I was pregnant and I believe after finding out that all my symptoms were me in the first trimester of pregnancy 🙈 second dose was okay.
