Has anyone else bought far too many baby clothes just because they were cute or am I alone?

@Caspianberg yes all the suits have to stay. I'm petite and so is the father plus with the high risk pregnancy I'm definitely keeping the smaller sizes just in case. They hardly cost anything and would fit a baby doll perfectly later on. On another thread I discussed suits most people used the tiny baby sizes initially and only moved up to newborn at 3 months. Average baby girls in UK is 3.2kgs and so far she's looking smaller than average on the monthly scans I'm having.

@Caspianberg yes we spent ages working out the sizing (and eventually the list) - especially since HM clothes really are in between all the usual sizes here in the UK

Keep the small sizes. You can always sell them on ebay if needed.

I’m only 5’4, size 6/8, and Ds was still long and 4kg, so I’m not sure petite really has much to do with birth size.

But if your happy to keep then no harm to, just if they are your favourites it’s disappointing if you can’t use them.

@Caspianberg no probably not, but just going by the percentiles currently she's looking small. They're not favourites, just someone I bought 'in case'. And on another thread about this both JL and HM are all agreed upon as being really big in their sizing. I did a comparison and the JL suits in 'tiny' baby are actually the size of 0-3m in other suits. Anyway I know I've got far too many, I blame Black Friday !

@CheesyFootballsAreEvil yes I was thinking the same. And maybe we'll have another baby - who knows. Bit unlikely, but since we've managed to create one miracle baby I'm keeping the option open!
