Hcg levels - always follow a pattern?

Hey,

I had my bloods measured this week and it showed a triple rise. I'm wondering if anyone has a few sets of bloods and do they always triple thereafter?

I should have got a 3+ on the weeks indicator this Saturday, if my HCG was to follow the triple pattern. I still didn't get one today.

Or is it possible it could triple and then go down to double instead and still be ok?

Ps. I know the weeks indicators aren't favourable .. since I had my bloods as a threshold tho, I'm just comparing that with the 3+ HCG threshold.

Thanks Xxx

@Rachae those are fantastic news!! 😍 and so glad to hear that you also had a scan done and everything looks ok 👌🏼
Hope this have given you some peace of mind until next ultrasound ☺️ xxx

Had some intense cramps last night and make me wonder if AF will show up at anytime 😅 The fact that you also had some makes me feel less anxious. I guess might be normal but because this would be my first child I have no idea on what to expect 🙈

Looking forward to my first scan at 7 weeks which still 2 weeks and a half away. This journey is soooooo slow 🤣

@shannonl26 thank you ☺️ yes I've got one on Friday where we'll hopefully see the heartbeat. They've agreed to scan me weekly due to my previous losses.

@thedesirerainbow thank you! ❣️ I definitely feel reassured and less panicky.. not sure if it's related but the cramps seem less intense now my anxiety levels are lower. To reassure you, I've read that cramping is absolutely normal and it makes sense in a way, as stuff is growing in there. I guess we just always think the worst! It'll be my first child too ☺️. Totally with you on the timespan... A week feels like a year! 😂 Xx

@Rachae

So pleased to hear that all is well with your pregnancy, when is your due date!?

I wonder if you could let me know how you got your doctors to do a blood check for you!?
I found out I'm pregnant Wednesday just gone but after having a MC in 2019 im so worried!
My CB is showing 1-2 Weeks but I expected it to be 2-3 Weeks based on dates etc. The FR tests are getting darker each time I take one but my anxiety is through the roof as to why the CB digital isn't showing more!?

Rachae · 28/11/2021 18:25

Hey @Tails123 thank you! I darent look at things like due dates... just taking it a week at a time at the moment and staying neutral ☺️

I've had reoccurrent miscarriages (4) so I convinced my doc due to this, to help with the anxiety. To be honest tho, I think everyone with a bit of anxiety should be able to request one and I'd defo recommend giving it a go! Alternatively, you can get them privately through medichecks, if that's an option for you.

I'd seriously recommend throwing those CBs in the bin... They absolutely didn't work for me and everything is fine! I'd also stop testing with a first response after 20dpo, as they don't really go any darker and blood tests or scans are more reliable.

Congratulations! Xx

@Rachae thanks so much for the response I think I'm definitely going to through them out! I've not yet rang the doctors, so I'll give them a call tomorrow and I'll ask if there's anyway to have a blood check done! If not I suppose it's always going to be a waiting game!
Will definitely look into that thank you - anything to try and ease this anxiety!

Keep us updated with your progress ❤️

Hey ladies, just updating this thread as I know I like to track the outcome if I look at previous ones! We had a 6 week scan last night and we saw a tiny baby and a heartbeat. Hurrah!
Just to conclude what I was asking Initally ... I guess HCG levels don't always follow a pattern. If anyone's triple and then double instead, don't panic! Xx

That’s amazing!!! Soo pleased for you and congratulations. ❤️
I’m taking each day as it comes but that’s given me a bit of reassurance that the digitals aren’t always correct!!

Rachae · 01/12/2021 09:38

Thanks @tails123 ☺️ yep I'd defo throw the digis In the bin!! Xx

@Rachae yey! Fantastic news!! 👶🏼 I'm so happy for you 🙏🏽

Looking forward for mine in less than two weeks! ✨ Goshh time goes soooo slow plus I have been feeling sooo rubbish from a flu, what a difference when you can't take anything to make you feel better and recover quicker 😅

Rachae · 02/12/2021 13:07

@Thedesirerainbow thank you! :-) I've got another scan tomorrow morning to check growth and I'm super nervous again. It doesn't get easier haha! Aww sorry to hear you've been unwell - I had the same last week. Though I cheated and took lemsip, apparently it's ok! Agreed on time being slow... today is dragging so much and I only have to wait less than 24 hours now! xx

@Rachae what time is your scan tomorrow? I really really hope things go well for you. The scan will be here before you know it :)

@Thedesirerainbow less than a 2 week wait that isn’t long at all! Although I will say when I had the 2 week wait for the next scan it was the LONGEST 2 weeks of my life. So I feel you 😂 I hope your feeling better & congratulations ofcourse :) x

Rachae · 03/12/2021 09:40

Hey @shannonl26 thanks so much for thinking of me! I was fast asleep last night and I went for an early scan this morning. It's still going good, hurrah! Progressed from 3.4mm Tuesday night to 5.8mm this morning. They've put me at 6+2 which is a day behind.. but I think that's ok for tolerance levels at this stage 🤞

How's things with you? Xx
