Tesco pregnancy test

Hi, I did 2 Tesco pregnancy tests the other day, and both came up with thin blue lines where the positive would be. I'm confused because I thought evap lines are supposed to have no colour? But these are obvious blue lines. I saw a post from years ago where a lady had the exact same thing on these Tesco tests and turned out she was 5 weeks pregnant! Has anyone else experienced this and been pregnant? Just to add - the thin lines appeared within the time frame of the result.

Sorry not that much to add just I’ve read the same. There’s a lot of bad press about Tesco tests, my two were positive but I didn’t trust them and did a clear blue which did give the same.

I'm confused. You had lines in the test window, the right colour but think they were Evaps?

If they've come up with blue lines (thin or not) in the positive position and control position then your pregnant. Not sure on the confusion.

Yes, the lines are really thin though, not the normal thickness of a positive line hence why I'm confused. It won't let me upload photos because I'm a new member for some reason..

Do you want to be pregnant because it sounds like you probably are. Get a pink dye test and test again if you don’t trust the tesco ones.

Thank you I'll do a pink dye one! Being pregnant wouldn't be ideal for me right now but I take it as if it's supposed to happen then it will

Those have loads of "false positive" reviews.
Try a first response test, they are pretty good ime. If wanting a more budget price then asda's own or the freedom ones have been reliable for me in the past and under £2 a test. Good luck

I wouldnt trust them.... only once bought tesco brand and it did the same for me but wasnt preg... best of luck tho! X

I've used Tesco for both my pregnancies and both times I got a faint positive 3 or 4 days before my period. My experience has been good so I would tend to trust them. My lines weren't thin though, they were the same thickness as the other lines. Not sure if this helps or adds to the confusion
