I'm 17 weeks pregnant and already I know I don't want to breastfeed. I know it has its benefits but its just something I don't want to do. Anyone else feel the same as me

I think the majority don't breastfeed. I didn't. It was the plan from the very beginning to formula feed all of mine. I spent a month in hospital after my 3rd baby and it was great that DH was able to feed her without me.

Decades of formula marketing have played a blinder.

Breastfeeding is hard and if you don’t want to do it then that’s fine! Fed is best at the end of the day and you have to do what is right for you aswell as baby.

My LO is now 12 weeks and exclusively breast fed, and if I’m honest with myself, If I have another I don’t think I will breast feed again. It’s has been exhausting, painful and stressful. However she will also now not take a bottle so we are just going to carry on I guess. Don’t get me wrong, breast feeding has so many benefits and I’m glad I have done it incase she is my only one, but my lord it has been so stressful x

@ExcitingTimes2021 you've reached the good bit now! Established and now it's cheap, easy, no waiting, no sterilising, no worrying if you travel or have supply chain issues. Have breast, no prep required. The first bit is rough!
