Movement changed. Dramatic again?

Hi all.

I’m 35 weeks pregnant with 2nd child and completely aware of the importance of checking out reduced feral movements. The problem is, I’m not sure if they’re reduced. I can feel her wiggling around but whilst the intensity has increased (possible position change) the amount of wiggling has reduced slightly. I’ve been in twice for the exact same thing and she’s always been more than perfect. Does anyone have experience with a change in movements towards the end of pregnancy. I hate to think I’m being dramatic as she is definitely moving.

Thank you 😊

I would always get it checked out.

If in doubt always call and go in. They wont mind. They would rather you go in multiple times and baby be fine than not.

Look, if you go in and all is fine then it’s no problem - midwives see it all the time and won’t think anything of it. You’re not being dramatic. You’re clearly concerned enough to post here so get checked out for your peace of mind.

I agree, anything that feels different I’d get it checked. It’s always best to take no chances.

You're worried so you must go in. I saw it every time. It is your baby and she or he should be your concern not whether you are wrong or bothering the staff. I hope all is okay.

I went in a lot with dc 2 as nearly lost DC1. Some staff did treat me appallingly but I ignored them. I could live with myself as I was doing all I could to look after my baby. They had to live with themselves being horrible to worried parents.

If in doubt, check it out.

Hopefully it will just be baby having less room to move around, or in a different position where you're not feeling so much. But there's no harm in putting your mind at rest.

Had midwife appointment this morning and she advised little one in breech. Head up and bum down 😩 this could explain change of movement. Heartbeat is perfect and any concerns go to MAU. She’s been wiggling around all day so all seems to be well(ish) xx

Iirc time on all fours might encourage baby to turn.

TEDZ · 22/10/2021 17:03

@SunshineCake1 I’ve been frantically googling position to change babies position. I’m on it Grin thanks xx

Good luck!

I had mine turned by a midwife in my lounge. Don't do that.
