When Did You Start Buying?

As above really! When did you start buying?

I’m 22 weeks and have bought a couple of vests which we used to announce to kids we were pregnant but absolutely nothing else.

Will probably buy pushchair and next to me bed second hand but not sure what to go for yet. Might buy new though. Not bought anything for hospital bag either.

Wondering when I should start buying these things.

Yes that's essentially what we did too, it's so much money for the pushchairs and associated bits, I was quite surprised.
We have small cars so needed to know what would fit so choose a few options and also managed to find a suitable one second hand.
We're the same, 90% of our furniture and clothing is second hand/charity shops and I don't think the baby needs new things.
Agree that some items need to be new for safety reasons but considering how little use most baby items will get, it felt so wasteful to just get everything new. Though we're planning 2 children & my younger sister is already saying she'll use all of our stuff as she should be ready to start having children when we're done so hopefully they'll get a decent amount of use!
