Hi everyone, just found out I was pregnant on Saturday, came as a shock and I’ve not told anyone yet as I can’t quite believe it and it wasn’t planned. I’ve been extremely dizzy which has got really bad today - I’ve not been able to leave the house and keep falling asleep all the time. I’ve been eating loads, my appetite is ravenous, which is worrying me as I don’t want to become overweight during my pregnancy! Im usually really fit and active but not been able to do any proper exercise lately due to my fatigue and dizziness. Any advice? I’ve not informed my GP yet about my pregnancy either, I’m really clueless about what to do!
Thanks everyone in advance Smile

Hey @Catmama1992 - congratulations.

I was the same from 3-9 weeks (when the symptoms started I assumed they were vaccine 1 side effects as I didn’t know at this point that I was pregnant). I was extremely fatigued, dizzy and fainting regularly. I’ve always had quite low blood pressure but pregnancy (for me at least) has made it even lower. My midwife isn’t concerned about it though and her advice was just to drink lots of water and nap when I need to. I’m week 22 now and the tiredness isn’t as bad anymore but I’m still very dizzy and liable to faint if I do too much or stand up too quickly.

Obviously I would suggest speaking to a medical professional to check properly, but wanted to share my experience with you in case it was helpful or reassuring :)

@glasspaw thanks so much for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it! Yeah I think I’m going to phone GP tomorrow. I’m also an emotional wreck and have cried so much! X
