When were you due and when did they come

Trying to keep my hopes up as my due date has just came and gone…

Just a thread about when you were due and when it actually happened? Thanks 😊

First baby two weeks only. Membranes swept the day before because the GP thought I was 'ready'.

Second baby. Spontaneous labour and delivery the day before her due date.

First 13 days late. Second time induced(!) with twins!!! 37 weeks full term for twins. Went in 37+5 and took 5 goes to get them to come out!!!

Had my baby on 38+1. Waters had been breaking but needed to be induced to get the labour process on a roll.

Number 1 bang on 38 weeks
Number 2 being induced 39+6 on Wednesday... Consultant led, bmi pathway, measuring 95th centile. Fun times

First two 10 days late, last one 9 days late (would've been 10 if not for a bleed forcing a hospital visit and causing emergency c-section). All natural labours, all began the day before except middle child who was 6hrs start to finish.

Due in September and arrived in June

Bang on 37 weeks.
Due on the 30th, arrived on the 9th. Completely unexpected, even the mat unit thought it was braxton hicks, I was only going in to be checked, ended up being carted straight to delivery 🤣

Never got beyond 35 weeks two early birds

40 + 4 spontaneously

DS 2 days late...spontaneous following a sweep.

DD 1 day early...spontaneous onset.

#1 - 5 days early
#2 - on due date
#3 - 6days early (induced)
Patiently waiting at 38 weeks for number 4 to arrive.

DD1 40+4

DD2 40+2

DD1- waters went at 36w4d and baby came at 37w
DD2- who knows?! Currently 27w 6d!

@CountDownnn sounds disgusting, but my mucus plug came away while I was in triage with the midwifes hand up there checking how far along I was. I remember DH asking what the gunk in her hand was after she said we were going to delivery as baby was coming 😳

That and them telling me they were going to pop my waters as he was tearing me are pretty much the only 2 things I remember vividly from my labor due to speed.

1st was 9 days late - natural
2nd was 11 days late - natural

Was awful being overdue with 1st baby. Was not bothered at all with 2nd as I knew what to expect!

Induced when 13 days after due date. Took 4 days to finally deliver via emcs.

I’m 40+2 and still nothing… not even lost my mucus plug, no braxton hicks, zilch!

I have never knowingly had Braxton Hicks and I'm on my second pregnancy, I dunno if that's because I don't notice/recognise them or I just don't get them. I also didn't lose my mucus plug until I was already in the latent stage of labour, I had been having mild, irregular, sore contractions for many hours before the plug started to come away.

Both on due date. Both natural deliveries.

1st was 10 days late. 2nd on the date. 3rd was 3 weeks early. 4th on the date and 5th on the date.

DD1 8 days early
DD2 7 days early
DD3 2 days early
DD3 8 days early
DS 8 days early

Bubs arrived naturally 3 days early! I consider myself very lucky!

17th Feb and she come on 6th March after a long 5 day induction! 😬

Due 14th, born 29th 😫 after induction on 27th.
