happened for the first time last night, woke up 4am starving hungry. Am suffering from spd so getting up and going downstairs to get something to eat is even less appealing than normal. I opted for a cereal bar... very disappointing but did the trick but aiming to plan ahead tonight and take something better to be with me... any ideas

Don't be tempted by toast and jam - it goes soggy!

Wrap yourself a nice cheese sandwich?

I thought i was the only one who did this! With my (March) babies I used to have a buttered got cross bun by the bed! Either that or flapjack or banana. The hot cross bun was best though, as more "breakfasty" - maybe some buttered tea loaf?

I can't get enough of cereals - cornflakes, shredded wheat, weetabix. there's something very comforting about milky things. My sister used to keep a pint of milk on the windowsill to keep cool so she could have cereal in bed as soon as she woke up when she had MS.

If your hungry but dont feel like actually eating, A big glass of milk might help, does the job for me when I wake up with hunger pains untill about 7 am when I give up and have a big bowl of hot wheatabix
