BFP - but small bleed on day period was due - advice please

Hello -

Can anyone offer any advice - I got a BFP yesterday (14 days after ovulation) but in the evening had a red bleed which i assumed was my period coming after all. However, it stopped and i have no bleeding today. Could this be implantation - is there any hope? Should i do a pregnancy test in a few days to see if still pregnant? Has anyone else had this at 4 weeks?

Any advice would be appreciated, I had a mc in August and i am very anxious.

Sorry Lcy didn't see you'd had a bad time at EPAU before. Funnily enough I did too when I miscarried, they were frankly quite rude but today I went and it was totally different staff and they couldn't have been nicer. They can offer you a blood test for hormone levels as well as a scan to check they are doubling - often early scans are a waste of time because if you don't see a heartbeat you panic (well I did anyway) but everything is still fine.

Lcy, I read your posts when you MC'd.....glad to hear of your BFP and sorry you are feeling a bit fraught at the moment. Implantation bleeding is very normal, and usually happens at or around this time. With DD I had brown blood at 6 weeks, which was put down to implantation bleeding earlier in the PG.

I'd had 2 mcs before this pregnancy, so can appreciate how scared and concerned you must be at the moment.

There is a great support thread on here; it got me through some very trying times, and chatting my worries over with others in the same position was enormously helpful.

Lcy - don't worry your GP will refer you - make sure you mention the previous mc and also the bleed.

lcy, i bled every time my period was due for the first 4 months during my pg. no-one was worried, except me , but i did go and get myself checked out everytime. dd born beginning of sept, perfectly healthy. Am sure you're going to be fine, but if you're at all worried, go and get checked out. Sorry to hear about your earlier mc. Will be thinking of you please let us know how you pg goes.

Can anyone help... Me and my partner are trying for a baby, if I am pregnant I would b about 4 weeks now, I have had nausea n felt sick nearly everyday, i have had thrush which I have never had before, I have spots around my nipples n my stomach feels like I have been doing sit ups. I have taken loads of pregnancy tests and all have come back negative. I started bleeding on the day my period was due but it started off slow n pinky brown colour then few hours later went to what it looked like a normal period, but the next day it completely stopped which it has never done before. The day after I started bleeding again for bout another hour n stopped again and on day for did it again for bout half hour and has now stopped again. All this is not normal in
my cycle as it is normally reliable. I just feel constantly sick n keep getting on and off tummy discomfort. Can anyone tell me what's going on ??

I was due on 22nd of this month and I’m late I had a little bleed yesterday morning it was bright looking red but the bleeding stopped after an hour. Today I haven’t bled. Can anybody give me any advice please
