Stokke Crib advice

Hi I'm looking at Stokke crib & am first time mum

wondering has anyone used this & what did you think? I know it's expensive

Also - is the Stokke Sleepi Cot suitable from newborn or must you get the mini crib first, then buy extension etc - thinking this is expensive when doubling up mattresses etc

thanks

Love ours, and we did start off with the mini crib (so cute!) as the next size up version was quite big to have in our room for the first 6 months. But I see no reason it would be unsuitable for a newborn. My 3 year old is in the fully extended bed now and he loves it. It definitely does add up with all the mattresses (especially as I'm pregnant again so we will need new mattresses for #2 when it's his turn) but you can also think of it as spreading the cost over a few years!

I bought mine off eBay! It held its quality and resold after using for my son 👍
I loved the mini, could fit the sleepyhead (know guidance has been updated now) and had the higher setting to save my back and wheels if wanted to move around.
Then used the extend set for the next size cot, good height settings again abc the option to take a side panel off when child old enough.
We didn't extend to the bed but definitely loved ours!
Spare parts were easily available - but you might need to check on postage costs and brexit issues as they come from Germany.

First time Mom, I need some advice. Considering the Stokke Sleepi mini cot, I wondered a)what people’s opinion on this are? Also b)does a sleepyhead/dockatot deluxe fit inside?

@m90hanni havent had the stokke cot but please don’t put anything in baby cot at all, including sleepyhead or anything similar. They are not considered safe and can increase the risk of cot death. Look at lullaby trust for further information. They get around being sold as they say to be used under supervision only but not worth the risk being used at all
