Does it sound like labour or labour is approaching or just good old pregnancy?

Hi everyone,
A little bit TMI.
So I'm a FTM, I'm 37 & 5.
I haven't had a show or my waters go.

Yesterday I had period cramps most of the day. Last night they were quite intense (i nearly called L&D), they went away after I took some paracetamol and laid down, Iv had horrible back ache along with this.

Today, I literally cannot keep of the toilet pooping, some loose some soft. My back is killing me again, my tummy doesn't have cramps at the moment.
I have had heavy discharge watery milky white.
I have such a pain in my vagina, lots of pressure. I just don't know 🙈

I just feel like so much is changing but I'm not sure what signs to look for 😳
If the cramps come back today I will be calling L & D for advice x

Hellllo, nope nothing yet.
Everything seemed to disappear.
Although today I have been having period cramps again and tightenings. Not getting my hopes up just yet 😂🙈

I have a sweep booked in for the 28th so still time yet.

Don't do sweep, don't break the waters if you can avoid it!

It totally sounds like labour is starting. It may take a couple of days but just bear with it.

DD3 I was in labour and progressing well and they broke the waters and it was BAD! Nonstop contraction, fetal heartrate went down (baaaad sign), emergency doctor call, luckily baby was out quick. Still really regret accepting that water break could have been worse. I had had my waters broken before but I wasn't having contractions at the time

Little update;
We DTD last night and that seems to have kick started things. Called triage this morning as I bleeding after, and I was having bad cramps still having them now.
She didn't seem worried, she said she thinks I'm in the latent stage.
Fingers crossed baby makes an appearance this week!

Nothing yet, cramps are defiantly getting worse but only seem to have them on a morning.
Still have the "symptoms" I mentioned above but no baby yet.

Sounds weird but do you have a purple line in your arse crack? Google it. Sure sign of labour.

It does feel like it's dragging at the moment. 40 weeks now so I know there isn't long left ...
I feel like I have had dire signs of labour for weeks, but no actual labour.

@steph246 I was having contractions for weeks and not feeling them. I was being checked for lack of movement and every time I was on the machine it was spiking over to 100. They all kept asking if I was feeling it and said no!! I ended up being induced for lack of movement at 40+3 on the end. Then when it was doing it, I did feel them 😂

How are you getting @steph246 ? I'm 41 weeks today and haven't had a whiff of labor starting! I'm desperate for it to kick off naturally before being induced on Friday!

@Raindancer411 that's crazy! Iv defiantly been having strong cramps but they don't last so who knows 😂🙈
Iv got my first sweep tomorrow so I'm really hoping that kicks things off haha!

I'm doing good! Iv got horrible PUPPs it's driving me mad so I am trying everything to get him here before I go crazy 😂

Yeah that's so weird to think she'll be here this week! I've been going for a 2 hour walk every day, DTD, bouncing on my birthing ball every evening, eating spicy food which I hate but nothing is helping!!!

Ouch I had to google what that is it sounds so uncomfortable poor you! I'm booked in for a sweep tomorrow so hopefully that will get things moving!

Thanks @steph246 the sweep was fine not painful at all just uncomfortable fingers crossed it gets things moving! If not I have another one booked for Thursday before induction on Friday 😫. Are you having one today as well? Hope it goes well!

That's good news.
Yes I just had mine wasn't bad at all.

I have another booked for Thursday and induction booked for Monday.

Glad I have a plan. Hopefully this one will do the trick!

I've lost some mucas plug this evening so I'm praying that might mean labour is on the way! Don't want to be too hopeful though!
