Thanks all

honestly I wouldn't bother with getting them done before you start TTC for you. The numbers can be very scary and very misleading. Unless you specifically think somethings wrong (like you have very irregular periods etc) it really isn't worth it. e.g, mine came back saying my AMH (egg reserve) is low and it sent me into a tailspin. turned out it meant absolutely nothing and I am as fertile as a rabbit really. it just means i don't respond to IVF meds as well.

Only thing I would recommend is a sperm analysis.

Throid levels as can affect TTC. I have PCOS and doctors still wouldn't do any tests when I started TTC only once I had been trying a year with no success.

Also with the national blood tube shortage GP are been asked to only do urgent blood tests.

You won't be able to get any of these bloods done now or for foreseeable future due to shortage of blood bottles. GPS are only doing urgent bloods.
There is absolutely no point in getting bloods done to check for anything anyway, unless you've been trying to conceive for a year without success. Crack on!

I’m not sure your GP would do your bloods for no reason? I had undiagnosed thyroid issues with no symptoms meaning it took us 2.5 years to conceive, so definitely worth asking.

I would do a basic check-up just to see that everything is fine for both of you, maybe check if you're missing any vitamins as well? Try to be as stressfree as possible, and good luck!

@IsabelHerna not possible. There's a nationwide shortage of blood bottles. GPS are having to cancel blood tests even with people who are being monitored for conditions and drug interactions.
