Hello all,

I’m only just over four weeks but struck down with horrendous fatigue and waves of nausea. This is coinciding with (like many of you, I imagine) my regular return to the office a couple of days a week from tomorrow. I cannot fathom how I am going to cope with the Tube then the office this week - I’ve been having to have a lie down in the middle of the day since I discovered I was pregnant.

Any tips on making this easier? I’m planning to pack my bag with some snacks - all ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.

@Pollypocket89 your symptoms can’t start until you’ve implanted.

I booked annual leave one day off a week, to make the working week shorter. Felt better around 10 weeks luckily so it wasn't so bad. But when you're in it it feels shitty and never ending.
Also had a little stash of things in my handbag - little bags in case I got sick on the way in or at work, sugar free mints, little packets of crackers, salt and vinegar crisps, sour sweets for an energy boost. Just take it one day at a time, and let things slide at home. Eg changing sheets, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom etc. Partner had to take on all cooking and cleaning up duties while I napped on the sofa
