I've got plans to go on holiday but as the date gets closer I'm starting to panic! I've heard the second trimester is the safest in which to travel but I'm terrified of having a problem at 40,000 feet! Btw, so far I've had what I would say is a normal pregnancy. Am I just being silly?

Hello
Am new to this site! My sister ia moving to New zealand for 9
months soon, and we are hoping to go and visit her over Christmas. Me and my husband are trying to concieve - so at most I would be 26 weeks pregnant on the return flight. Not had a baby before so who knows what type of pregnancy I'll have. Would like some advice please! The flight to nz is more or less two days, so very long time. The thing that worroes me the most is if we would have to cancel if there were any complications; is it possible
to buy cancellation policy on insurance? This trip would be a very expensive one so need to know before booking! Thank you in advance!

I'm flying to US at 22 weeks and home at 24 weeks.

Midwife wasn't concerned at all but said main thing was the flight socks, walking around the cabin and drinking shedloads of water.

Insure & Go will insure up to 32 weeks and they have a list of " pregnancy complications" so if you had to cancel due to something on that list or needed medical care due to something on that list then you are covered

Thank you. Do you know of they would insure cancellations for partner too? Because my husband wouldn't go if I wasn't able to go! Thanks
