Help?!?!?! fetal movement all over the place. Some days crazy movement some days hardly any.
I'm a mess about this and went up to the hospital at 12 midnight the other day and ended up leaving again because I'm exhausted atm and was waiting hours to see anyone (I live an hour and a half from he hospital) half 5 in the morning we got home an he started wriggling like crazy, then last night again I kept waking up because I thought he was queiter than normal and now his kicks are soft, I don't know what to think but my anxieties through the roof and I'm even having terrible dreams about the whole thing serious lack of sleep too🙄🙄🙄 I'm 33 weeks and it's my first baby, I can't keep going up and down to the hospital the waits are too long and the drive is crazy but then when I'm there I feel like I'm being over the top and if I don't go I feel guilty as hell 😶😶😶

If you won't wait at the Hospital to see a HCP, I'm my sure what answers you're expecting on here OP?

Only a trained professional is going to be able to assess your LO.

I agree. Unfortunately you need to bear it out and just wait at the hospital. Call them in advance so they know to anticipate your arrival, pack a bag seeing as you live so far away with snacks and something to do or read and then head off!
I do sympathise but you will feel better once you know your baby is OK and you will regret it if you didn't just go. The NHS are very understaffed and theres lots of pregnant women so I expect wait are worse than usual, but if anything were to go wrong you would be in the right place and seen to urgently

All the best xx

I think baby movements are so hard after three babies I wouldn’t say any of mine had a Particular pattern some days there was less movement some they partied a lot! Before you go in do you try having a hot/ cold /sugary drink and lying down for an hour and counting any movement you feel? Could you get the thing that lets you hear baby heartbeat? It might help your anxiety. If you are in a low risk pregnancy it’s probably normal for baby to have various movements and periods of being quiet. It is worrying of course and nothing will put your mind at rest except the midwifes doing checks or baby moving lots. I would of had to stay away from home and other kids and even have emergency plane take me if I had followed up every case of baby not moving so much, I never did, i would poke tummy and usually get a small kick back and eventually baby would have more movements, sometimes t hey are moving but you can’t feel it as they have changed position. Good luck.

I’d suggest speak to your usual midwife about it at your next appointment (or phone and see if you can get a quick check up appointment where they can listen in for baby’s heartbeat).
I spoke to my midwife about something similar around 25 weeks.
It seems that they will always advise you to go to a&e if you’re concerned - I think there’s truth in that but also that they sort of have to be cautious and say that.
I asked my midwife to explain what they mean about reduced movement as, at that time, there was no sign of any regular pattern emerging and so some days I wouldn’t feel much. Midwife explained that they mean a reduction in what is normal FOR YOU. So if a day little movement is normal for me, then there’s probably nothing wrong (but go to a&e if you are concerned).

It can be confusing and stressful. Definitely speak to your midwife for more clarity and perhaps also talk about your anxiety relating to this as they should have support in place for that too.
