Hi, I'm just 4 + 2 today but anxiety is getting the better of me. I travel from Ireland to London quite regularly for work so on short haul flights once or twice a month. Is this okay? My GP just said as long as I feel ok then I'll be fine, but just overthinking everything in my head! Has anyone else had to do this? Xx

I flew quite frequently in my first pregnancy with no concerns.
You will need to get a fit to fly letter once you hit about 26 weeks.

I would be more concerned now with Covid - and whether I was comfortable doing it would depend on whether I was vaccinated, what the numbers were doing etc :-)

In normal times I’d have been flying a lot but I felt so crap until 15 weeks, exhausted and nauseous, I’m so grateful for the covid as I’ve been grounded 😱

Flying itself isn’t so much of a problem but I’d be more worried about the risk of covid TBH. If you’re double jabbed then I’d be less concerned. I’d also make sure your work health/travel insurance covers you if you’re pregnant.

I haven't had my jabs yet 😞 so I need to speak to my midwife about that. It's quite a corporate job and I just started under two months ago so don't really fancy letting them know so early on was trying to hold out until I was 12 weeks or so maybe. But I don't want to risk anything so may have to xx
